Why did Snug remind or alert me after I checked in?
If Snug sends a reminder, missed-check-in alert, or Dispatch call after you believe you checked in, your check-in may not have reached Snug's servers. This can happen when your phone has a weak internet connection or no connection when you check in.
Check in again as soon as possible through the Snug app or by phone. A successful check-in resets Snug and resumes your reminder schedule.
Check in again now
If the app is available, open Snug and select the green check-in button.
You can also check in from any working phone:
- Call +1 (844) 243-9110
- Press 1
- Enter the mobile phone number associated with your Snug account
- Follow the prompts and listen for confirmation that you are checked in
Confirm that your earlier check-in completed
A successful check-in has a confirmation:
- In the Snug app: The green check-in button disappears and Snug displays the quote of the day
- From an iPhone or Apple Watch notification: Snug sends another notification containing the quote of the day
- By phone: The automated system confirms that you are checked in
If you did not see or hear a confirmation, the earlier check-in may not have completed.
Check your next scheduled time
Open the Snug home screen and check the next scheduled check-in time. If you have multiple daily check-ins, completing one check-in moves Snug to the next scheduled time. You must complete each scheduled check-in separately.
If the problem happens again
Email support@snugsafety.com and include:
- The phone number associated with your Snug account
- The date and approximate time you checked in
- Whether you checked in through the app, a notification, or by phone
- What confirmation you saw or heard
- The reminder, alert, or call you received afterward
If possible, include a screenshot of the Snug home screen showing your next scheduled check-in time. Continue checking in by phone if you are not sure whether an in-app check-in completed.
